Visual communication – PERGRAPHICA®Project
Zoom on the communication and packaging project carried out by 3rd year students in collaboration with Mondi Group, a world leader in paper manufacturing.
The specifications: add value to PERGRAPHICA® premium design paper, designed for professional print, by developing innovative presentation and communication tools to reinforce its strong and unique identity.
The PERGRAPHICA® team was looking for proposals of ideas, concepts, innovative and offbeat visuals allowing users to perceive the multiple possibilities offered by this paper, while bringing a unique customer experience through touch.
Twenty students divided into five groups therefore collaborated on this project, developing the PERGRAPHICA® paper brand through a presentation book, branded merchandising and even booth design features for fairs and events.
To carry out this project, Zoe Truchy, PERGRAPHICA® Brand & Product Manager came from the headquarters in Austria to present the expectations of the brand, also providing paper samples, reference projects and colour charts.
After a first phase of product discovery and exploration of the full range, the students went on to research concepts they could offer to the company. To do so, they tested grammages, resistance, laser cutting and hot foil stamping … so many ways to explore the components and characteristics of a paper to offer the best applications and recommendations.
The 5 concepts presented drew on inspiration from nature, Viennese architecture, a journey through the senses and landscapes, organic forms or even the creative process itself to work on visual identity and develop a range of branded giveaways.
