Accessibility

The École Supérieure de Design is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Article 47 of French Law No. 2005-102 of 11 February 2005 and the current version of the French general accessibility improvement framework (RGAA).

This accessibility statement applies to the website ecolededesign.fr.

Compliance status

The École Supérieure de Design website has not yet undergone an RGAA compliance audit.
In the absence of a full audit, the accessibility of the website cannot be precisely assessed at this time.

Good practices already in place

From the design of the website onwards, and throughout its evolution, several good practices have been implemented to anticipate digital accessibility:

• Semantic markup: structured headings and landmark regions (header, main content, complementary areas, footer) allowing screen-reader users to navigate by region.
• Alternative text for images: alt attribute provided for informative images and left empty for decorative ones.
• Accessible forms: fields associated with their labels, mandatory fields indicated.
• Explicit links: link text that is understandable out of context.
• Document language declared on every page, for both the French and the English versions.
• ARIA attributes used where relevant: accessible names for buttons and areas without a visible label, regions named by their heading.
• Help pages: a “Sitemap” and this “Accessibility” page.

Planned improvements

• Carrying out an RGAA compliance audit on a representative sample of pages.
• Implementing an action plan following this audit (for example: focus management, skip link, media alternatives, keyboard navigation).
• Updating this statement once the corrections have been made.

It will be updated after the official audit has been carried out and the necessary corrections have been integrated.
